About Me
I discovered blowing glass while in college in 2012. Since graduating in 2015, I have been working as a glass maker and honing my craft of both gaffing and assisting in the making of glass pieces. The dance of manipulating molten glass with heat has become a skill that I am very proud of possessing. In the past nine years I have worked as a professional glassblowing assistant for countless artists and for many studios including the Corning Museum of Glass, Hollywood Hot Glass, Ignis Glass, and The Adirondack Glassblowing Studio. Thank you for your support as I continue to learn and grow as a glass artist, business owner, and person.
Why “Diamond Shears Glass”?
Simply put I feel the diamond shears one of the most unique-to-glass tools. They look like a medieval tool mainly used for cutting glass but the curved tips are also used to grab hot pipes and it takes a while to master their use. As a Christmas gift they were the first tool that I ever received as my own and I never setup my bench without them.
